Squash 8-Ball

EIGHT BALL SQUASH, also known as 8-ball zucchini. We racked ‘em up for you. It’s a round, dark or light green summer squash with a tender skin and rich flavor. The skin is thin and edible. It has a mild, rich flavor similar to zucchini and is tender when cooked. Use it in any recipe that calls for zucchini. It can be sliced and sautéed, grilled, or hollowed out and stuffed with ingredients like quinoa, vegetables, or ground meat.

The 8-Ball Squash, Zucchini and Yellow Squash we have available as much as possible when it is in season, is grown by Jose and his family on our farm. If you find a wormhole, please be grateful--just cut around it. That means it isn't covered with pesticides that will hurt you.
